“Buckle Up in Your Truck” Seat Belt Campaign
The Causeway Police Department will be participating in the statewide Seat Belt enforcement campaign, “Buckle Up In Your Truck”, aimed at educating pickup truck drivers and their passengers about the importance of buckling up. Causeway Police officers will be looking for unrestrained drivers and occupants, specifically those in pickups truck, who are unrestrained while operating their vehicle. The campaign will be running April 19th through April 27th and is funded by a grant from the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission.
